Jurlique Body Exfoliating Gel - REVIEW

My experience with Jurlique Exfoliating Gel:
Although description on Jurlique website says "Gentle", I would categorise it as "Medium Rough" due to its walnut shell powder base (shell powder won't dissolve in contact with water, therefore its exfoliating action lasts until you totally rinse it away with water). My skin received rejuvenating massage which I really enjoyed. The gel like product spreads easily on contact even with dry skin, which helps reach full benefits of exfoliation. After rinsing the product off, I felt slight warming sensation on my body and the skin was softer to the touch and smoother. I haven't experienced any hydrating though and no protective layer from natural oils was formed.
I liked this Exfoliating Gel mainly for its circulation improving powers but I wouldn't buy this again as I am not a fan of overpowering citrusy scents mixed up with woody notes.(this is how I perceived it).
Also, Jurlique listed Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate in ingredient list which is a chemical preservative that may cause irritations if the amount is more than 0.1% . PEG 7 is another synthetic acting as an emulsifier which can potentially contain toxins from manufacturing process and reduce your skin's natural moisture factor. Please see the full list below:

Julique is a funny brand because they have some products with some ingredients which I do not approve of, I certainly don't class it as natural more free from but of course that's my personal opinion :-)
