Before you head off to your nearest beauty department store to buy your loved ones the latest eau de toilette endorsed by a celebrity, just be aware that you may be gifting them headaches, allergies and skin irrtations. Beautiful botle or scent, that's usually an end product of chemical reactions between synthetic substances. The descriptions of head or base  notes are usually just a guide and referrals to flowers, herbs or fruits have not got much to do with their natural correlatives. Turning towards natural perfumes is way more rewarding, they have powerful aromatherapeutic properties, so it makes sense living our busy lives to be enveloped in a mood enhancing aura, as opposed to a harsh irritant.
We have created a list of natural organic perfumes that we like the most for different reasons. Check them out and make sure you comment in the box below. We would love to know if you are keen to swap your old favourite for something purer and more unique.

  1. This is such a great post. I currently don't use perfume because conventional perfumes are full of toxins and I never really bothered to research natural perfumes. I will definitely be referring to this when I want to treat myself. Do you know where I could get samples of these perfumes though?

    1. Hello Petra. Thank you for your thoughts. Tsi-La has samples available to get at $5 per sachet. I am sure all brands will be able to send you some samples if you contact them directly. I personally trust my gut instinct and try to smell the scent with my imaginary nose (I know :)) by reading the description only.
