I have always supported opinion that you can make yourself fit without any equipment whatsoever. I exercise regularly using just my body weight as resistance to add strengthening benefits.

HOWEVER...

I also have a weakness to trying new things out, varying my exercise regime and generally seeking new thrills. Did some research before Christmas, wrote a letter to Santa (My Sister and her Hubby) and here is what I got:

Although there are certain guidelines as of how to use this non stretchy band safely and effectively, I wouldn't be myself if I didn't have my own way of utilising TRX.


My idea for a perfect workout with TRX Trainer is as follows:

! Warm Up (jumping jacks, dancing to favourite tune, anything that increases your heart rate slightly)
! Start (perform 45 seconds high interval,  running in spot,drive your knees high, rest 15 seconds)
! TRX assisted squats (45 seconds)


!Rest ( 15 seconds)
!Running in spot, high knees ( 45 seconds)
!Rest (15 seconds)
!TRX assisted chest press



!Rest (15 seconds)
!Burpees (45 seconds)
!Rest (15 seconds)
!TRX assisted suspended crunches (45 seconds)




!Rest (15 seconds)
!Explosive squat jumps (45 seconds)
!Rest (15 seconds)
!TRX assisted back rows


! Rest (2 MINUTES AND REPEAT THE WHOLE CIRCUIT ONCE OR TWICE AGAIN)

PLEASE DO NOTE THAT ABOVE WORKOUT IS DESIGNED FOR ADVANCED EXERCISERS AND IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER, THEN SHORTEN YOUR HIGH INTERVAL LENGTH TO 20-30 SECONDS, AND MODIFY YOUR BODY ANGLE WHEN USING YOUR TRX. (THE SMALLER THE ANGLE BETWEEN YOUR BODY AND THE FLOOR, THE EASIER THE EXERCISE IS)
